Hint Entrance off Highway coords are N50 34.320/ W113 45.268. Gate N50 34.307/W 113 44.142.Cache is wrapped in a plastic bag. Hint look at the north side of a large bolder at the base. The cache is covered with small rocks Please replace the cache as found. Comments
PLANNING
With the good weather, I made a plan for searching for a few caches north of Lethbridge. The real goal was to find 2 caches near Frank Lake (east of High River) and I then added 3 more caches on the route there. This trip will provide a nice break from my recent trips to Medicine Hat.
OUTCOME
11:45 am. This was my 4th search of the day, and one of the two that I was really hoping to find. A pleasant surprise was to find the gate to the area open so I was able to drive the half mile to both caches. I notice that this cache was first set out in 2001. I'm not sure, but this may well be the oldest cache that I have found (I know I have found a few that were set out in 2002). Here is my posting to this geocaching.com website:
