GC20GFG The History Of Alberta - Turner Valley/Spitzee N 50° 35.314 W 113° 49.674Difficulty 1.5; Terrain 1.5; size small; Creator: Barry & Jo Date First Hidden: 11/01/2009 Date Last Found: 10/03/2010 ruralDescription Some interesting history of our province and deserves a good read. Crazy location for a Historical Waypoint but hey! This cache is only accessable via the NORTH bound lanes of Highway #2. This is a roadside stop so its safe and has ample parking if there aren't to many 18 wheelers. A small plastic cammo container with log book/pencil and a few trading items. PLANNING
With the good weather, I made a plan for searching for a few caches north of Lethbridge. The real goal was to find 2 caches near Frank Lake (east of High River) and I then added 3 more caches on the route there. This trip will provide a nice break from my recent trips to Medicine Hat.
OUTCOME
11:25 am. This was my 3rd search of the day. It was a pullout on the side of Highway 2, just north of High River. Here is my posting to this geocaching.com website:
Stopped on my way to Frank Lake (yes, it required a U-turn). SL. TFTC. Here are a few photos:

I am now 3/3 for today.
