PLANNING
The weather is unseasonably warm and I am now eager to see if I can reach the level of 900 finds before the snow flies. After a few modest ventures in the downtown core of Medicine Hat I decided to try creating a list of potential finds that were on the western edge of the city. This time my list contained 13 geocache sites. At the end of the day I had looked for them all and was successful 12 times.
OUTCOME
9:55 am. This was my 2nd search. Just looking at the rock wall was intimidating. It only took a few minutes to realize that the container would have to be fairly small in order to pass through the wire mesh. After that it was a matter of carefully looking at all the small rocks in the vicinity of the coordinates. It only took another couple of minutes to spot the mica rock but it was only when I pulled it out that I realized I had the cache container. Here is my posting to this geocaching.com website:
Definitely daunting as one approaches the wall. A great hide with an excellent hint. A perfect combination. SL. TFTC. Here are a few photos:

I am now 2/2 for today.
