PLANNING
The goal today was to drive to Medicine Hat and focus on the geocaches in the central downtown area. Four of these caches were puzzle caches and I wanted to see if I could find the necessary information to use later in solving the puzzles. I had a list of 13 possible searches but I ended up with 4 finds, 2 DNFs, info. for the 4 puzzles, and 3 that I never tried to find.
OUTCOME
This was my second search. It was only a block away from my first search. I spent about half an hour looking for this one without success. I kept my eyes peeled for a coppertop battery but failed to see one. There was also a copper hibachi in the area but a close inspection of it failed to turn up a micro. There was a pile of rocks but I didn't see anything promising. There was a hose with a copper end to it, but once again I didn't see a container. Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
Unable to find it today. Maybe next time. No photos of the area (again!).
