This cache has been placed for the CARMH event, held Aug 21, 2010. This cache was released to the public on Aug 19th . The caches should not be located prior to 6:00 pm, Aug 20th. The caches for the event are released early so that the caching community has an opportunity to plan their routes prior to the event start. Hint Comments
PLANNING
This was a new experiment for me. I had downloaded a large number of caches in the Medicine Hat area to my GPS unit using a pocket query. I then headed out and as I approached a cache icon on my GPS I would enter the GC code into my iPhone to obtain a description and the coordinates. I was curious to see how well this would work.
OUTCOME
This was my 7th search. I left Lethbridge at 7:10 am. This turned out to be easier than I expected when I saw all the rocks. Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
