GC2EEE0 Hatter 6 Birdie 4 U N 50° 00.593 W 110° 42.178Difficulty 1.5; Terrain 1; size regular; Creator: billy buttons Date First Hidden: 9/01/2010 Date Last Found: 10/09/2010 Medicine HatDescription This is a peanut butter plastic container hidden in a very unique stop high above the flood plain. This area suffered major flooding in June of 2010 and five of seven bridges were washed out. It contains a golf glove, ball markers, dice and a pin. One should always be on the lookout for critters in the grass etc. Parking is very close bye and the cache could even be wheelchair assessible. Just a little bit of slope. Hint For some it is a pipe dream to drain their golf ball for a hole in one. Comments
PLANNING
This was a new experiment for me. I had downloaded a large number of caches in the Medicine Hat area to my GPS unit using a pocket query. I then headed out and as I approached a cache icon on my GPS I would enter the GC code into my iPhone to obtain a description and the coordinates. I was curious to see how well this would work.
OUTCOME
10:15 am. This was my 4th search. I left Lethbridge at 7:10 am. I realized where the cache was as soon as I approached it. Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
Great location. Everything is still dry and in good shape. TNLNSL. TFTC. Here are a few photos:
