Also a thank you goes out to Jobok & Deester for most of the supplies and great ideas. I also want to thank Thor and the rest of the members of the observatory for allowing us to place it there. Paintings on the outside of the cache box were done by a local artist Ray Senft. The inside was done by Jobok & Deedster.. This is one of Medicine Hats largest cache containers. It is a travel bug hotel. A place where you can trade your travel bugs and geocoins. There is also a cache box for trading swag items as well. Inside you will find a large trackable travel bug, write the numbers down to discover it. It can not and should not be removed or taken. Please place everything back just as you found it so others can enjoy it the same way you did. The FTF prize is and unactivated travel bug. I have found to many people are having problems with the lock, so I made a few changes. I replaced the lock with a simple combination lock and will give you the combination to it so there will be no puzzle to solve. The combination to the lock is 39-12-21. Enjoy the cache. Hint Comments
PLANNING
This was a new experiment for me. I had downloaded a large number of caches in the Medicine Hat area to my GPS unit using a pocket query. I then headed out and as I approached a cache icon on my GPS I would enter the GC code into my iPhone to obtain a description and the coordinates. I was curious to see how well this would work.
