GC2FXG9 Forgotten Part of RR201 N 49° 38.567 W 112° 36.081Difficulty 2; Terrain 2.5; size small; Creator: Tuff_Turf Date First Hidden: 9/28/2010 Date Last Found: 10/10/2010 ruralDescription As the name suggests this cache is at the end of a small forgotten piece of Range Road 201. The road is not maintained so it might not be passable during wet or snowy weather but it is just a short hike to the cache. Parking would be possible during the wet weather in the first 50 feet of the road. The Cache is a sandwich sized camo'd LnL container. Contains Log book and small trade items. When I placed the cache I forgot to put a pen in it, so please bring your own and I will put one in next time I am out that way. There is a FTF prize in the cache of a $5 Tim's card.

PLANNING
I set up a set of 5 searches in the Lethbridge area that would enable me to clear off some of the new geocaches in this area. The first two were in North Lethbridge and the next 2 were in rural Alberta, south-west of the city. The fifth search was in the town of Magrath. I then added one more search to my list. This was also in Magrath and resulted in a DNF when I tried to find it earlier this summer. Since it is within walking distance of the fifth search I thought I might give it another try.
OUTCOME
11:20 am. This was my 3rd search of the morning. I drove south and then east to the cache area. A short walk and I was at the site and quickly found the container.
Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
A pleasant morning drive in the country. Lots of action in the fields as the farmers try to get their crops in before the snow flies. Took geocoin, LNSL. TFTC. Here are a few photos:
