PLANNING
I had returned from an early morning find in west Lethbridge and was logging this on the geocaching.com website when I noticed that 2 new caches had appeared in Lethbridge. I decided to see if I could obtain an FTF, so I put the coordinates into my GPS unit and headed back out.
OUTCOME
10:55 am. I was approaching this area when I realized there was another group clustered about the cache site. I decided to wait until they left before proceeding. Then as I was about to return to the site I noticed the same two geocachers approaching. This time we exchanged names and nicknames and recognized one another from numerous previous posts. They indicated that the group that had left the site appeared to be photographers rather than geocachers. We then began searching for the container and I spotted the hide first. I wanted to leave the geocoin in the container but it wouldn't fit. However the other two geocachers offered to "retrieve" the coin as soon as I "dropped" it. Nicely done.
