GC15W3Y Highway 33 Stash Hide N 49° 32.139 W 119° 04.681Difficulty 1.5; Terrain 1.5; size regular; Creator: Groundhog & Shadow Date First Hidden: 9/10/2007 Date Last Found: 9/17/2010 rural BCDescription This regular cache is hid at the Hall Creek Rest Area off of Highway 33 between Kelowna and Beaverdell. This rest stop boasts washrooms, & picnic tables, and is bordered by Hall Creek. There is a small trail along the creek accessed by the gate at the back corner. The cache is in a small rectangular tupperware-type container, and contains the logbook, geocache note, and pencil, as well as the usual trading items. Sorry, but I forgot to add a FTF prize. This camoflaged cache should be easy to find as its not covered and is in the open.
Hint Beside tallest of 3 (or were there 4?) stumps. Comments
PLANNING
This was a travel day as we drive from Kelowna to Nelson, BC. I identified 8 caches along our route. Then, depending on the time, I may add a few more while we are in Nelson.
OUTCOME
9:15 am. This was my first search of the day. As the description indicates, this was an easy find. After pulling into the rest area I simply began walking in the general direction of the cache and looked for a large stump. Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
