PLANNING
This was our first full day in Kelowna. I made a list of 2 possible searches and then went out to see if I could find them. Since the first two searches were along Mission Creek, I returned to our unit and added an additional 3 caches at the other end of the parkway. I returned again to our unit and identified 2 more nearby caches. Back to the unit to identify another couple of caches before heading out for dinner.
OUTCOME
This was my 9th, and last, search of the day. I thought this would be a short walk from the previous cache but there were 2 streams between me and the second cache. This involved a fair amount of walking to find the bridges across them. Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
My GPS unit had me about 30m from where I eventually found it. But I enlarged my search area (after all I was looking for a regular size container) and eventually found it. It was a good workout - one of the many reasons I like geocaching. TNLNSL. TFTC.
