GCRBBM Terry's Mountain N 52° 58.780 W 119° 19.189Difficulty 1.5; Terrain 1.5; size small; Creator: kokoscoot Date First Hidden: 11/14/2005 Date Last Found: 9/19/2010 rural BCDescription This is a regular cache located in a forested area close to a popular rest stop. The cache is very close the view point and is a regular container. I had to replace this one at night so please feel free to cover it up if visible during the daylight. This cache is located at the view point for Mount Terry Fox, named to honour one of our greatest national heros. I remember Terry running close to where my family was camping when I was a child. He has inspired so many and raised millions of dollars in funds for cancer research. The cache contains a logbook, pencil and a few small items. It is close to the washroom so stealth is necessary.

PLANNING
I made a list of seven caches along the route from Jasper to Vernon. However given that this was going to be a heavy driving day I was not sure how many of them would be attempted. One of the caches indicated that it would take a bit over half an hour to walk to and from the site.
OUTCOME
10:00 am This was my first search of the day. It was the second cache on my list. The first cache was near Mt. Robson, but when we drove into the parking area it became clear that it would involve some time walking to the cache and so we moved on to this cache.
The cache was located under a log in the woods behind a large log building.
Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
Both the mountain and the cache are fitting memorials to Terry. Thank you for setting this one up. TNLNSL. TFTC. Here are two photos:
