Description
Parking available in the parking lot . Construction of the Jasper Tramway began in 1963 and finished in time for the opening of the 1964 summer season. The project was supervised by the German firm P.H.B with the key components imported from Germany. Helicopters were used to ferry people, materials and supplies to the upper terminal. In accordance with Jasper National Park guidelines no trading items or things that might attract wildlife are to be left in this cache. Please bring your own pen.

We will be spending 2 days in Jasper on our way to Kelowna. I have identified 6 caches in the near vicinity of the townsite and will see how many I can find.
