Use the wooden stairs to reach the cache. Please keep within the boundaries. Please be careful in the winter as the stairs can be icy. The section of the Athabasca River nominated to the Canadian Heritage Rivers System is 168 km long and lies entirely within Jasper National Park. Take the time to read the plaque located near the cache location. In accordance with Jasper National Park guidelines no trading items or things that might attract wildlife are to be left in this cache. Please bring your own pen.

PLANNING
We will be spending 2 days in Jasper on our way to Kelowna. I have identified a few new caches in the near vicinity of the townsite and will see how many I can find.
OUTCOME
3:40 PM This was my 4th search of the day. This cache was on Old Fort Point, a short drive from town and a place I spent many hours as a boy.
