GC2DJ50 The Old Fire Hall N 52° 52.636 W 118° 04.861Difficulty 1; Terrain 1; size micro; Creator: browneyedsusan Date First Hidden: 8/16/2010 Date Last Found: 9/19/2010 JasperDescription Parking is available on the street. Can be a very high muggle area in the summer. Sit a spell and take in the view of the old Fire Hall across the street. Please replace container very carefully. Make sure it is attached properly. In 1936 the Fire Hall on the corner of Elm Ave. and Patricia St. was completed. The Western Canada Fire Underwriters Association recommended that Jasper form a Brigade with volunteers from the community. To this day Jasper still has a volunteer Fire Brigade. November 1st 2002 the Jasper Volunteer Fire Brigade moved into the new Emergency Services building located at Geikie St. and Hazel Ave. Currently the Old Fire Hall is occupied by J.A.G. (Jasper Artists Guild). A great place to see some of the work done by our local artists. In accordance with Jasper National Park guidlines no trading items or things that might attract wildelife are to be left in this cache. Please bring your own pen.
Hint magnetic- with the garbage can on your left, sit and reach down. Comments
