It gives you a chance to get off of the busy road and stretch. Also enjoy the view to the west. You also have the opportunity to continue on up the road and find the caches hidden up there. Again there are great views. Bring a camera. Be careful though, I did see 2 Grizzlies in the hills as I was coming down the road by the switchbacks. Hint Just hanging around. Camo tape. BYOP Comments
PLANNING
I set up a route that would involve 12 geocaches along Highway 22 north of Pincher Creek. I also made note of 4 caches in Claresholm in the event that I had time left after the first 12 had been searched. The intent was the simple one of trying to clear the southern end of the valley between the Porcupine Hills on the east and the Livingstone Range on the west of all "unfound" caches. I left home about 7:30 am.
OUTCOME
10:00 am This was my 3rd search of the morning. It was only a short drive from the previous cache and a quick find.
