IDENTIFICATION
Difficulty 1; Terrain 1; size micro; Creator: WD65 Date First Hidden: 4/23/2010 Date Last Found: 7/24/2010 Description A 30 KM. speed limit for obvious reasons, a great place for kids to let off some steam, and a nice walk through, over the walking bridge into an area that is designated future park area. Take a moment to listen to the murmuring of Drum Creek and the peace of a small bedroom community. Bring a writing stick. Hint magnetic Comments
PLANNING
I created a set of 14 searches for the Crowsnest Pass. However by 1 PM I had visited them all. Two were occupied by muggles and I planned to try them again on the return trip. I used my iPhone to obtain the coordinates for one additional cache, which involved a good hike up a hill. It was 2 PM by the time I was back at the truck, so I headed home with two searches still in front of me. At this point I was 13/13. The final result for the day was 14/15.
OUTCOME
8:24 am This was my first search of the morning. I left Lethbridge at about 6:30 and made a brief stop for gas at Pincher Creek. Then into Hillcrest for the cache. This involved noting a cache hide that I have used myself on a couple of occasions. That helped when it came to noticing it.
