Description If a tree falls in the forest and dies it becomes an OLD SNAG. In the past this place was an active gravel pit. Now transformed into a peaceful serene wildlife park for man and beast alike to enjoy. Take the short hike and enjoy it's scenery and perhaps see some of the wildlife as well. Look for something that does not belong in nature there, it will have the coordinates to the cache. FTF prize and other swag for trading.
Hint A branch once grow out of here.

PLANNING

I created a set of 2 searches that will once again bring me up to date with Lethbridge caches.

OUTCOME

This was the second search. I was looking forward to this as it was in Alexander Wilderness Park. I was not disappointed. The walk was enjoyable, the finds were interesting, and the scenery was great.

Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:

An early morning find. Both stages were well planned. Also saw 2 cottontails (bunnies), 1 white-tail (deer), a Kestral (hawk), some House Wrens, a Western Kingbird, and a few Song Sparrows. This is a great park. TNLNSL. TFTC.

Here are a few photos:
