PLANNING
Today was devoted to geocaching. I began with a small set of 3 caches in south Lethbridge. One of these was a high muggle recycling depot, the other two were fascinating little areas in south Lethbridge. I then returned home to plan my next activity.
A check of the geocaching.com web site indicated a new cache had appeared in west Lethbridge. I fired up the truck and made smoke as I pressed pedal to the metal and headed off to see if I could obtain an FTF (First To Find). Unfortunately it was a little green thing in a tree. I think it took me almost half an hour to spot the little fella. Fortunately it was an FTF. I am not sure how many of these I have but I am sure less than half a dozen. Anyway it is now one more than before. I now have 4 finds for the day - more than I was expecting when I woke up this morning.
I then made a new list of 2 caches in the river valley. The first of these had a Travel Bug and the second was simply neat. The total is now 6 for the day.
Pushing my luck I created a new list of 3 caches in Alexander Wilderness Park. Once again I was successful. The total is now 9 for today and 691 for my life.
OUTCOME
This was my 7th search of the day. This was the first of three in Alexander Wilderness Park. A short walk from the parking area to the picnic area and a quick find.
Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
I have been here before, but not for a picnic. The mossies were out in force today. But I didn't see any ants. We need to rewrite history to give more credit to the mossies. TNLNSL. TFTC. Here are two photos:
cache was under the trees, not the table

I am now 7/7 for today.
