GC29QY7 Valley view #1 CARL2 N 49° 47.147 W 112° 48.050Difficulty 2; Terrain 4; size regular; Creator: Joci Date First Hidden: 6/05/2010 Date Last Found: 6/19/2010 ruralDescription You have to park 450 feet south of the cache on the side of the service road to the feedlot and walk up to it. Please do not block the gate, but most of the time it is closed. You do not have to go to the property there, because the cache is not there !!! After big rain it could be water in the ditch so be careful, but it is not too bad. I remember when the road had a sharper curve there and could see this valley from it. I always liked this view from here. But I think they made a bigger curve because it is safer this way and you do not have to slow down. Since then I missed this view so sime times I stop by and take a look from there. It is a nice place but some times it stinks there because the feedlot is close by. The cache is out side of the property so you do not have to go there. It is a regular LnL container filled with the usual stuff. Hint Under some rocks. Comments
PLANNING
I need to do some maintenance on 3 of my caches. While travelling to these caches I worked out a route that would also include searches for 6 new CARL2 caches.
OUTCOME
This was my 5th search of the day. This took me a few minutes to locate.
Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
The view was good, but the smell was even better. TNLNSL. TFTC. Here are 3 photos:
