GC29DCD Welcome to Lethbridge N 49° 41.838 W 112° 50.967Difficulty 2; Terrain 1.5; size micro; Creator: Joci Date First Hidden: 5/30/2010 Date Last Found: 6/3/2010 LethbridgeDescription You have to park in the parking lot there, like close to 200 feet West from the cache and walk up to it. It is in urban area but at the information center they know it, because I talked to them about it. Bring your own writing instrument because it is a small plastic pill fob keychain !!! Please put it back in the same spot and rehide it as you found it, because I think this is the safest place for it in that area !!! Thanx in advance !!! FTF prize is a Lethbridge keychain. The thing is, there is no welcome cache for Lethbridge yet, and I thought we need one here so we could welcome the cachers with it. I think this is a good spot for it in this area, because I could not put it closer to that nice garden, due to an other cache. But make sure you check it out from the parking lot !!! They always decorating it for the present season and looks very nice all the time. Hint Under the bark. Comments
PLANNING
While enjoying a pleasant cup of coffee with TeamDJM last night, it was suggested I try to find this cache which was created while we were in Jasper. I added a second cache to my list that was also created while we were away. Then I headed out at 8:30 am to try my hand. I remembered to bring GeeCee, my geocaching bear and travelling companion with me. He had been hibernating all winter, but finally woke up, and was eager to find some caches and berries.
OUTCOME
I drove up to the parking area for this cache and spent about 10 minutes examining the area before finally finding the cache. Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
