PLANNING
After spending the morning in our 5th wheel we wanted to venture out, even though the weather looked like it might rain (or snow) at any moment. I had a number of caches loaded into my GPS that were just outside the east gate of Jasper National Park. We thought we would try for the nearest and then decide on what to do next, depending on the weather.
OUTCOME
As we approached the cache area on the highway we realized it was in a pull-out on the other side of the road. There was no traffic in either direction so I did a U-turn and pulled into the rest stop. I was able to park beside the provincial sign and soon had the container in my hands. It was a nice hide and would have been very difficult without the hint to help.
Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
Nice hide. Weather not so nice. SL. TFTC. Here are two photos.

We then decided to drive to William A. Switzer Provincial Park to see if I could add this park to my list of such parks where I had found at least one cache. Unfortunately when we arrived at the park it began snowing and the road was very muddy and soft so we soon left the area without trying to find any of the caches.
