IDENTIFICATION
Difficulty 2; Terrain 2; size small Creator: oasysps Date First Hidden: 8/3/2009 Date Last Found: 3/28/2010 Description Little Bow Provincial Park This cache was placed Aug 3 2009, At one of my favorite campgrounds. It is a great place to camp or just pack a cooler and go for the day. There is a nice beach so bring your swimsuit. The Cache is in a rubbermaid box it has a poker chip, small tape measure and log book and pen. Hint about 3 feet of the ground Comments
PLANNING
I drove up to Calgary this morning to see the SuperTrain model train show. Then on the return trip I planned to take a short detour to look for this cache in one of the provincial parks.
OUTCOME
This turned out to be a quick find. The drive to the park was all on pavement and the park itself was a delight.
I slowly drove into the park past the gate and stayed on the main road through the campgrounds. My GPS indicated the cache was on my left, only a short distance from the road. I stopped the car when the cache icon was directly opposite the car icon. Once I left the car I headed up a slight hill toward a cluster of bushes. The GPS indicated it was on the other side of the bushes so I walked around the bushes and then returned to the area. While I was doing this I noticed a large cottonwood a little further away. I thought that might be a likely spot when I noticed some plastic at the base of one of the bushes. As I walked toward it I realized that it was the cache container. It was not 3 feet from the ground and there seemed no point in nestling it among the branches at that height as it would be totally exposed so I returned it to the base of the bush.

The container was easy to see from a distance. Hopefully the new growth will soon provide cover. Lovely park. This is the 5th Provincial Park where I have found at least one cache. I only need to find caches in another 55 Provincial Parks to receive credit for GC222BN. TNLNSL. TFTC.
