You have to park a block away and walk up to it or even use a wheelchair!!!!!!!!! It is high traffic and muggle area so some stealth will be required !!!!!!!!!!! FTF prize atached to the container !!! Bring your own writing instrument and please put it back in the same spot as you found it because I think this is the safest place for it !!! Thanx !!! This is my first cache and because nobody put any here, so I thought I will. This one is for Lethbridge, because we live here. I picked this location because this place comes up first when you looking for caches in this city by the name of it and it is marked right in this intersection as "Lethbridge". This is the best spot I could find for it in this area. You have to park a block away and walk up to it or even use a wheelchair !!!!!!!!! Hint Magnetic !!! Comments
PLANNING
I noticed another new cache had been put out in Lethbridge. With the wind up it was less than ideal for anything outdoors, but this one did not involve any real walking so I thought I would give it a try. I also wanted to check on one of my own caches that seems to be giving difficulty. Finally I wanted to drop in at a local print shop and see if they could trim some small notepads so they will fit in some small LnL containers that I hope to use in the future.
OUTCOME
The search for this cache turned out to be easier than I first thought. I had a cursory scan of the potential sites without noticing anything in particular.
I then met a family of new geocachers and so I began describing the process I would use to search for the cache. Since the hint indicated it was magnetic I would focus on metal surfaces. Then if I didn't see anything noteworthy I would begin touching all of the possible attachments to see if anything would move. The first object I touched, moved. So that was the end of the demo. I then showed them how to find the logbook (by unscrewing the plug on the short cylinder).
Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
A nice hide and a superb idea for a new cache. SL. Met a new group of geocachers and had a great chat. TFTC. Here are two photos:
