You are on the west side of the East Hillcrest bridge and you will see an old stile which has been in place for at least 40 years. At one time there was also one on the other side of the road, but this has been removed. Hint Comments
PLANNING
I created a plan for searching for 7 geocaches in the Hillcrest/Bellevue area of the Crossnest Pass. Looking at the descriptions for these caches I sensed there would be both some hiking as well as some difficult searches as there were a number of micro-sized caches in the group. I figured 7 searches would take much of the day and I was not too confident of finding all of them. On the other hand this is a beautiful part of the province and I enjoy being among the mountains at any time. The weather forecast was for sunshine but with some wind.
I was taking my sling pack as well as my Panasonic DMC-ZS3 camera. I am still trying to develop, and stick to, a more rigorous routine of keeping track of the timing of each search plus taking more photos of the search.
OUTCOME
My GPS unit had me driving right by a cache that I failed to find the last time I was in the Crowsnest Pass so I decided to stop and have another quick look around. I was more than a little surprised to simply walk right to it and immediately spot it. I spent over 30 minutes last time and failed to see it.
Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
I had mapped out a plan for for today's entertainment involving searching for 6 caches in this area but on the way to the first one the GPS took me right past this one (which I failed to find 10 days ago) so I figured I might as well have a quick look. I walked right to it. Strange how one day I search under and over everything in sight and fail to see it, whereas on another day it is an easy find. Anyway this was a bonus for today. Took a TB, left a geocoin. SL. TFTC. Here are the photos:

good swag
I am now 1/1 for today, and I haven't even begun searching for the 7 caches on my list.
