IDENTIFICATION
GC20H5G Grand View - Bonus N 49° 11.865 W 113° 18.890Difficulty 3; Terrain 1.5; size small Creator: Janet and Jim Date First Hidden: 11/1/2009 Date Last Found: 1/14/2010 CardstonDescription The cache is NOT located at the above coordinates! It is a nice playground, but there is nothing there to find. This is a multi-cache that is placed in connection with the four “Grand View” caches we have placed in Cardston. In each of those caches is a partial coordinate needed to find this cache. You will have to find all four to locate this one. Hopefully this will provide a fun day of caching and sightseeing in Cardston. The physical cache is a small LNL type container. There is a first to find prize. There will also be many other interesting things like a travel bug and a geocoin. Hint Comments
PLANNING
I wanted to clear this set of 5 caches off my list, but was waiting for the snow to melt. Today seemed like a good day to try this. I downloaded the cache information to my Garmin nuvi and made a set of notes in my small notebook that gave the coordinates as well as the size of the cache. I took my iPhone with me in case I needed a description or any additional information. This time I was determined to take a few more pictures as well as keep time of when I arrived at each location and how long it took me to find the cache.
OUTCOME
This was my fifth, and last search as part of the Grand View series. I now had the coordinates for this cache and had no difficulty driving to the edge of town to find it. I left the truck at 1:05 PM, walked across the road, and saw the container nestled at the base of the trees. I brought it back to the truck to sign the log. Here is my posting to the geocaching.com website:
This cache is in good shape after the winter snows. Thank you for an interesting set of 5 caches. LN. Took a geocoin. SL. Here is the photo:

I am now 5/5 for today.
