5:45 am Today will be full. We leave at 7:45 am for breakfast in Lismore at 8:30. Then up to the Channon to look for a pottery serving bowl. Then back to our unit to pack up much of our stuff and move it to the house we will be staying in for the next month.
Now to spend a few minutes putting a few images on previous journal pages.
8:25 PM We are progressing according to plan. Breakfast in Lismore was excellent. Mission accomplished at the Channon. We had our eye on a couple of bowls and fortunately they were still on display. We saw a couple of smaller bowls which caught our eye at the same time. The two large bowls fit nicely into my backpack and should work as a carry-on.
Phyllis had everything organized for taking to our next house and it all fit into the car. While at the house we received a few last minute instructions and then sat back to watch a few birds. They were everywhere. We saw both a Grey Fantail and a Rufous Fantail, as well as a Brown Thornbill, and we saw another lifer, number 134, a Shining Bronze-Cuckoo.
Shining Bronze-Cuckoo
Monday and Tuesday will primarily be devoted to moving the remainder of our stuff out of our current rental unit and into a temporary one night stand with some friends before moving into the house that we will be sitting for the next month.
