A. Morning Musings
6:50 am Interesting. My computer clock says 5:50 and my wristwatch says 6:50. Then I remembered that Australia decided to wait a week to reset their clocks from daylight savings time so it wouldn't interfere with the commonwealth games. So the computer with its built-in intelligence is out by an hour. I love it!
I am now reading two books of short stories concurrently: "The Complete Short Stories of Roald Dahl" and Bruce Chatwin's "What Am I Doing Here?". The Dahl book is a compedium of 4 previous publications plus 8 previously unpublished stories. I have now read the stories from the first two publications - the first a set of horror stories with a twist, the second a set of World War II stories. Chatwin provides a lovely counterpoint of calm insightful description.
We are listening to "Sunday with Macca" on the ABC radio before we leave for Bangalow for an early brekkie. Macca brings back a few memories.
