Saturday January 28, 2006 6:25 am Ballina NSW A. Morning Musings 6:25 am The coffee is in the plunger. I have reviewed my list of Ideas/ToDos and am pleased with what I have accomplished so far this month. Although there is a long list of items that still need attending to (20 where progress can be still be made this month, and another 40 for the future, for a total of 60 items that still need to be completed!). On the other hand I have already completed 24 items this month. While uploading my AusBirds files yesterday I noticed that I had a couple of images that were huge. I need to edit those down to a more manageable size. I will tackle that this morning. 6:50 am B. Plan 6:50 am Chores: None Exercise: Tummy exercises & beach walk. Technology: Reduce file size of images in AusBirds website. Birds: None. Literature: Continue reading "Who Moved My Blackberry?" History: Make mind map for chapter 2 of Ideas. Food, Mathematics, Art and Drawing will not be active. 7:00 am C. Actual 8:30 am Reducing the size of the images only took a few minutes. I am definitely getting better at using this software. 8:40 am 2:30 PM Another very good day. Our beach walk along the Shelly beach path was a bird-watcher's delight: Little Wattlebird, Dollarbird, Lewin's Honeyeater, White-cheeked Honeyeater, Figbird plus at least three that we were not able to identify. We then went into Ballina where I bought a 3-CD collection of Woody Guthrie folk songs. I am having a very relaxing time listening to these as well as Harry Belefonte, Odetta and Joan Baez. Now to add to this collection with some more by The Seekers and Pete Seeger. I have Bob Dylan on my iPod. Talk about deja-vu all over again. This is the way to spend a week-end. 2:50 PM D. Reflection
