PLANNING

The primary goal for today was to visit the Brevard Zoo. I noticed 2 geocaches near the zoo and downloaded the coordinates to my GPS unit.

OUTCOME

This was my first search of the day. We spent a very enjoyable morning and early afternoon at the zoo. This cache was located just outside the entrance to the zoo.

Here is my posting to this geocaching.com website:

Spent a very enjoyable day at the zoo. Then my companions agreed to a couple of cache searches. I knew I had found this one but was unable to make the grab because of a young muggle who stopped at the location for lunch. Went back a little later and signed the log. Noticed another person arriving at the site while looking at a GPS and gave him a quick encouraging "Your not that far away!".
