GCR35P Bob's cache N 29° 02.810 W 080° 54.156Difficulty 1.5; Terrain 2; regular; Creator: poosu Date First Hidden: 10/24/2005 Date Last Found: 02/06/2011 urbanDescription A nice park on the way to Smyrna Dunes I was caching in Smyrna Dunes County Park and ran into my friend Bob. After explaining what I was doing, Bob offered North Beach Community Park as a good place for a cache. I checked it out and I agreed. Even though Bob is not a cacher I felt he needed some recognition for his contribution. Hence the name. This park has 2 parking areas and is quite popular with the locals for free beach access and parking as well as a dog walking area. For those who like beach walks, 1.5 miles north on the beach is the first cache in Smyrna Dunes as well as free access to the area (walk ins are free in Smyrna Dunes). The cache is an experimental plastic container about 2 qt. size. It has normal stuff as well as a MEFF buck. Cache is not a hard hide as I want to minimize environmental impact. If you are having trouble you are looking too hard. It's just hidden enough to hide from muggles. Please rehide likewise. Keep in mind some of the muggles are dogs. There is significant cover so GPSr signal may be an issue. It is about 30 feet SE of a trail junction.

PLANNING
The weather is still quite cool but we did a little birding and geocaching during the morning and early afternoon.
