2:00 PM Model Trains

I have run the next session of Ship It! and now have a set of switching orders for session 2. I am looking forward to running the trains with the set of operating instructions that I have prepared.

Now that I seem to have the operating process under control I am beginning to think of a few future activities:

• put lights in the passenger cars to add some realism to night running
• learn to program the decoders in the locomotives (I need to adjust the sound levels in some of the locos)
• I might try writing an article for a model train magazine describing my activities

I'm nearing the end of "Infinite Jest". It is an amazing exercise in writing (and reading).
