3:00 PM Model Trains
I tried the CMX track cleaning car on my layout and was impressed with the initial results. After running the car around the inner and outer mainline tracks the cleaning pad on the car was filthy.
I then noticed a problem with the 4 switches on the outer mainline track behind the oil refinery. All four switches are controlled by a single Digitrax controller. At the moment I am not sure what the exact problem is. It almost seems like it is not receiving enough power to move the switches, but I have never had this problem before. In the short term I can operate these switches manually so it is not a serious problem.
I am beginning to re-familiarize myself with the Ship It software. This is still going to take awhile.
