7:20 am Morning Musings

Now that I am back home again, I want to begin the morning by giving a few minutes to setting up some priorities. I have my coffee beside me and am in a New Year's Resolution mood.

Priority one is to lose some weight and get myself into a more healthy lifestyle. This will involve 3 components. One will be a return to the routine of a daily coulee walk. Two will be to maintain a daily record of all that I eat. I will use an app (MyFitnessPal) on my iPad2 to keep these records. Three will be the addition of an exercise routine. The app will also keep track of this activity.

Priority two will be geocaching. I have a number of caches for a trip south of Lethbridge loaded into my Garmin 650 unit.

Priority three will be model trains. I have just received an invoice for a track cleaning car and have submitted payment electronically so that should arrive early next week. Now to turn on my PC laptop and get it up to date. Then I can begin to review my software and see if I am reading to begin a new session with Ship It software.

Priority four will be book related. I would like to get back to some mathematics (both linear algebra and symmetry). I am now interested in learning more about molecular biology.

Priority five will be to continue to play a few games of Go.

8:40 PM Life

Priority one is still on track. We had a coulee walk this afternoon and I kept my calorie intact to just under 1200. A promising start.

Priority two is set for tomorrow. I plan to make a trip south of Lethbridge and look for about 8 caches.

Priority three is also on track. I have received an email message indicating that my payment was received by The Dispatcher and I assume that the track cleaning car will arrive next week. I have also started up my PC laptop and it is now fully up to date and ready to run.
