8:00 am

The temperature is +19 C, with a high predicted of +23 C. Just a slight lower of the temperature and a few clouds overhead for the first time since we arrived.

1:00 PM Life

Today was a celebration of the New York firefighters. We walked over to Times Square in the morning for a last look before taking a taxi to the Newark airport where we caught our flight back to Calgary, arriving at 9:30 in the evening. What a grand time we had during the last 5 days.

4:00 PM Science

I finished reading "Microcosmos" while on the flight to Calgary. A great book that has me motivated to learn more about molecular biology. I also have tremendous respect for Lynn Margulis and have bought another book by her.

 

 

6:00 PM Puzzles

I also played 2 more games of Igowin on the plane. I lost the first at a level of 8 Kyu and won the second at a level of 9 Kyu.
