12:20 PM Life

I have cut all the boards that needed cutting for the first raised bed. The ends have been coated with the preservative (fortunately all of these ends will not be visible). Weather permitting, tomorrow will be assemby time.

3:00 PM Geocaching

The weather was perfect so I decided to try for a couple of geocaches in Alexander Wilderness Park in the Lethbridge coulees. The first was a regular cache and the second was a 2-stage multi-cache.

My log for this find says it all:

"With the experience of the West brass cap, I was looking forward to this one. It did not disappoint. My GPS unit clearly knew where the cap was but I misread the topo map and thought it was down in the coulee. Big mistake. It was a tough scramble up to the BC. I then compounded my problems by thinking that the coordinates for the container were down in the coulee. Big mistake. Days like today are learning experiences. Thanks Joci for helping me lose some weight. TNLNSL. Great sport!"
