8:30 am Geocaching
I went geocaching early this morning. I was looking for a cache that could hold a Travel Bug that I brought with me from a cache in the Crowsnest Pass. It was a pleasant early morning walk before most of the city was up. I was fortunate to find the cache almost immediately as the stone wall could have caused me some difficulty.

11:45 am Literature
I spent 45 minutes in The World's Biggest Bookstore where I bought the following 4 books:
- "The Use and Abuse of Literature" (2011) by Marjorie Garber
- This book caught my eye as soon as I entered the store. It makes a passionate plea for considering literature as a way of thinking. I like this.
- "The Nature Principle" (2011) by Richard Louv
- This book describes the important relationships between nature and the way think about this planet. Looks fascinating.
- "The Hidden Reality" (2011) by Brian Greene
- I have read his earlier books and am looking forward to this one.
- "The Beginning of Infinity" (2011) by David Deutsch
- I have read his earlier books as well and am looking forward to this as well.
This was another good expedition to one of my favorite bookstores. I had a few others in my hand at one point but finally restrained myself and put them back. One was a book on Quaternions (mathematics for describing 3 dimensions on spheres) by Kuipers. I may buy this later if I make progress with my studies in Linear Algebra.
