6:00 am

The temperature is 0 C, with a high predicted of +18 C.

From the Environment Canada website:

Today Sunny. High 18. UV index 6 or high. Tonight Clear. Low plus 2. Normals Max: 18°C Min: 4°C

Today promises to be sunny and warm.

I liked the identification of the 4 major activities from yesterday's musings.

1. Photography: read "Composition Photo Workshop" and do suggested activities
2. Literature: read "Autobiography of Mark Twain"
3. Puzzles: read "Lessons in the Fundamentals of Go" and play SmartGo on the iPad
4. Science: read "Cycles of Time".

I will include the fourth item and see how the day unfolds. Today I will definitely be outside with my camera.

7:00 am Technology

I have 2 new email messages from Dell in my inbox indicating that both the laptop computer and a carrying case have been shipped. This sounds promising but I will try to find more details about when I can expect it to arrive.

10:00 am Birding

While on my circuit around Nicholas Sheran park I happened to spot a few regulars plus a Say's Phoebe. The apricot colored breast was the distinguishing mark. I submitted a report to eBird of the trip.

11:00 am Photography

I am back from a delightful couple of hours trying to act like a photographer while walking around the lake in Nicholas Sheran park. It was very peaceful and I think I did obtain a few good photos. I took 185 pictures on this trip. Here are a few photos.

9:15 PM Technology

I have updated the software for my iPad. This is something else that I need to remember to check every month or so. I also downloaded another (free) ebooks App (this one is called Stanza) and it has a large number of free classics available.
