I have been giving some thought to this web site and its overall design. In part this is a result of reading the last few issues of Canadian Railway Modeler magazine. This is an important component of my model railway activities yet I do not have a good way of capturing this. Similarly I do not have a good way of synthesizing my information on the history of the CNR. Nor of keeping my photos in a separate place. Or a page of useful links to other web sites.
I like these Day Logs but I want to also have links to appropriate sections where one can follow the progress of different components.
I am going to modify the left margin to reflect the following structure:
I made a quick visit to Model Baron and bought the latest two issues of Canadian Railway Modeller as well as two straight connector tracks (I am concerned that one of these is "acting up" on the Jasper Yard reversing loop.). I also bought a #80 drill for use in assembling the hand rails on a caboose I bought recently while in Calgary.
I have begun updating this web site to conform with the new structure I have set up.
