Description

On April 29, 2008 Nicole arrived in Medicine Hat from Saskatoon to visit Louis. She walked into his apartment door and found their GPS on the floor with a note saying "Find Me" This note told Nicole to go to Police Point Park, had the above coordinates on it and a hint to find a Film Canister. Nicole was baffled, and thought maybe Louis had planned a picnic for the two of them. She proceeded to the park and found the first cache which had coordinates to the next cache. She went around the park on dirt trails and after 3 stages she found Louis. Louis was all dressed up, waiting for Nicole. He dropped to one knee and asked Nicole "will you marry me?" You will have to visit the final cache to find out Nicole's answer. Have fun, and wear good walking shoes, part of the journey is on dirt trails. You should have to do minimal bushwacking, you can follow established dirt trails between stages.

Hints

Stage 1 - Camo Film Canister
Stage 2 - Small Camo Pill Bottle
Stage 3 - Magnetic
Stage 4 - Ammo Can - UNDER

Comments A nice multicache! Stage 2 was the hardest. A while a go we found stages 1-3, but when it came to the final, we didn't find it. We found another cache in area and assumed it was it, but we figured out it was one from the interpretive center ( we think it's called Above ground). Today I went back to final stage and found it. PLANNING

We left Lethbridge at 7:00 am (temperature -5 C). We had a list of about 20 geocaches that were potential targets for the day's searches. These were all downloaded onto our GPS units, we had printouts of the descriptions, and warm clothing.

OUTCOME

This was our second attempt of the morning. The weather was actually quite pleasant - no wind, bright blue sky, and a temperature of -5 C. This is a multi-cache with 4 stages. We experienced a DNF on stage 1, so that put an end to the sequence. There were a couple of rabbits hiding in the same area as the cache, and there were a number of excellent candidates for where the cache might be, but we were not able to find it.
