PLANNING

This was the last of four caches on my list for today. It was very windy but I wanted to see how I would fare under these conditions. The good news was that it was relatively warm (+12 C).

OUTCOME

I am familiar with this area from previous birdwatching trips. The description helped. Instead of trying to go straight down over the edge of the trail, I went back about 50 meters and found a trail down. wetlands retaining wall below trail close-up contents path at bottom of steps recent addition to property This was my fourth fast find. I found the first cache at 1:40, the second at 2:10, and this one at 2:30. I was finished at 3:00 PM. Once again, the actual search once I was in the area only took about a minute. This was the first time that I was able to find all of the caches without a time-consuming search.
