West Lethbridge
Description

This cache is in the 15 hectare Elizabeth Hall wetlands nature reserve on the West side of the Oldman River in the Lehtbridge river valley. The location is a handy to Highway 3 and would be a good stopping off place for trackables. The cache container is a cammo covered peanut butter jar. The intital trade items are critters and trinkets. There is no theme for the cache. There is parking nearby. If you can, allow some time to explore the park area. There are interpretive signs along along the trail system and a blind for observing waterfowl.

This is another new cache. I just realized that this morning.
Hints A stump leaning East overlooks the cache.

PLANNING

This was the second of four caches on my list for today. It was very windy but I wanted to see how I would fare under these conditions. The good news was that it was relatively warm (+12 C).

OUTCOME

The remaining three caches were all in the Elizabeth Wetlands area of west Lethbridge, down in the coulee near the par 3 golf course.

This was my second fast find. I found the first cache at 1:40 and I found this one at 2:10 PM. The actual search once I was in the area only took a few seconds.
