PLANNING

I noticed these two caches while viewing the geocaching map of West Lethbridge. I didn't realize that there was a new park in this area. Time to see it. I was able to print both of the Identification sections on a single page, so that approach is now working well. I included one map as well to help keep me oriented.

OUTCOME

I was able to park the car on Highlands Blvd W fairly close to the NE entrance to the park. It only took a couple of minutes to realize that I was heading toward another cluster of (green) spruce trees. Apprehension sets in. But I also noticed from the description that it is a "small" container rather than a "micro". I may have a chance. Within a couple of minutes I had it. Great.

writing up the log

I left home at 11:20 am and found this cache at 11:40. The cache contained 2 coins from Barbados, a Milk River pin, and a small painted rock from Riverbugs74. The last is a neat way of leaving a signature - the first one of these I have seen. I assume the creators of the cache would keep this one. One cache down, one to go.
