PLANNING

I downloaded the site to my GPS. printed out the top part of this page, and began walking.

OUTCOME

Success again. 3 out of 3 for three geocaches, all on my first try. I left home at 1:20 and found the cache at 2:10. Roughly 25 minutes to get to the area and 25 minutes to find it. It is a bit overwhelming to be in among the trees and under-brush where everything looks the same and not have any idea what one is looking for. I love it! The container for this was excellent - it blended in with the leaves and some of the garbage that had blown into the area. Autumn may not be the best time to be looking for caches that are on the ground. Here are a few photos: approach route keep your eye on the tree to the left after one removes a few leaves contents I was fortunate to find this, but my GPS kept directing me to this area and I finally decided to see if the fallen tree trunk was "pointing" to something.
