The aerial photo of the map is out of date as the park is now finished and landscaped and the path is paved.
Driving Directions: Head south on Nevada Rd W toward Modesto Rd W 0.1 km
2. Turn left at Modesto Rd W 0.3 km
3. Turn left at Columbia Blvd W 0.6 km
4. Turn right at University Dr W 2.7 km
PLANNING
This will be my first new site search using this planning sheet. Even with the hint, this seems to give a number of people difficulty. It is only a short drive to this area on the south end of west Lethbridge. My plan is to visit 2 geocaches: GC1AWFD and GC1AWFG.
OUTCOME
This was surprisingly easy. The hint was more like an answer.
I finished finding the first site for this morning (GC1AWFD) "London Bridge" and was starting to walk back to the truck when I realized that I could probably simply continue walking to the second site. It was only about 100 metres further down the path.
A very successful trip: 2 out 2 successes, plus a lovely day to be out.
