Description

We've always felt that there should be more then one cache in this lovely park, so here is another. Henderson Lake is surrounded by a 2.8 km paved and shale walking path. There is a 4.3 km path around the perimeter of Henderson Park intself. The Park is 47 hectares (117 acres) built around a 60 acre man made lake and has been in existence for almost 100 years. The lake was originally a slough, but William Henderson, one time Mayor of Lethbridge, was instrumental in establishing the park and the lake.

The level of difficulty is 3 as this is very high muggle territory. Slightly away from the paved path.

PLEASE RE-ATTACH TUBE AS YOU FOUND IT....

UPDATE: 21 Aug 09 - Well, it looks like original bison tube (with a clip on it) has walked away again... We have replaced it with another Bison tube (a smaller one). If you find the big one please re attach it and let us know.

Hints Bison Tube - Even a child can reach this one

PLANNING

I downloaded the geocache locations in Henderson Park a while back. It is time I see what happens when I visit the park and try to find them.

OUTCOME

I am back from my most unsuccessful geocaching trip so far. I tried to find 5 caches, all in the Henderson Lake park area. Although I was "on top" of all five, I never actually found even one.
