Prime Minister Stephen Harper met with France's new president Tuesday in Paris, a day after rejecting claims Canada is blocking a Group of Eight deal on African aid. Not a very newsworthy item.

Australian Headline: (from The Australian): Eleven Killed And Dozens Hurt In Train, Truck Crash

ELEVEN people were killed when a truck smashed into a passenger train on a level crossing in country Victoria today, ripping open one carriage and badly damaging another. This is a terrible accident.
