CBC Headline: RCMP Officers Accuse Top Ranks Of Coverup

Several officers , some retired and some still serving, have, in front of a parliamentary committee, accused their leadership of a coverup related to fraud involving their pension and insurance plans. This promises to be a major story in the days ahead, as the former head of the RCMP, Zaccardelli, is among those named.

Australian Headline: (from The Australian): Fatal Crash Triggers Sydney Harbour Safety Fears

A crash between a ferry and a private motor cruiser that resulted in the deaths of three ice skating judges and one junior ice skater is missing. There were 15 people on board the boat at the time it was hit by the ferry. A number of investigations will be made into the accident. I have always been impressed with the way the entire harbour is regulated. It is a very busy waterway with a wide variety of boats and expertise, yet to my knowledge their have been very few accidents.

My weight down 2 to 190. Great. I have at least recovered the upward spike from yesterday and am now back to where I was two days ago. At least I have demonstrated that I can do this when I set my mind to it. But the overall goal is still to lose another 10 pounds. Trying to put a positive spin on my recent upward surge, I am at least back under the red line that shows the graph that will result in me reaching my target by early May.
