B. Plan
C. Actual/Note 6:10 am I am vascillating this morning between doing some mathematics and converting a couple of LPs to MP3. I will begin with the LP task, but will leave the mathematics item as a possibility for later today. 11:50 am Here are two more photos showing the beginning of the spring activity of the May tree in our backyard. 9:15 PM I converted 3 LPs to MP3 files in iTunes this morning. Two big band records (Billy Vaughn and Paul Mauriat) plus one folk record (Peter, Paul & Mary). I am beginning to feel comfortable with the cell phone. I have text messaging under control as well as speed dialing. I decided to push myself a bit and did two loops into (and out of ) the coulee this afternoon. I am a bit stiff at the moment, but it felt good at the time. I now have the time for such walks. That is a real luxury. I also saw a Ring-necked Pheasant while walking toward the university - the first I have ever seen on these coulee walks. I also settled in and read about a third of Rudy Wiebe's memoirs of growing up in rural Saskatchewan in the 1930's and '40's. His words just flow off the page. D. Reflection
