Megeney was shot accidently by a fellow soldier. The small town of Stellarton, Nova Scotia placed yellow ribbons on all of the telephone poles to show their support for the family.

Australian Headline: (from The Australian): Santoro Had To Resign Over Share Scandal, Says Howard
Ageing Minister Santoro has resigned following disclosures that he had held shares in a company. Earlier Howard had supported the minister. But further investigations revealed about 50 other transactions that had not been disclosed. Furthermore, it turned out that the charity he had reportedly given his earlier profits to was not a charity at all. It is still surprising to see the number of high level people who continue to think they can get away with lying when the media are on their case.

C. Actual/Note
7:45 am I slept in this morning, but the extra rest has done me good. I am feeling much sharper this morning. A couple of days ago I decided to flip between two ongoing tasks involving iPhoto & iTunes and Mathematics and Model Trains. Yesterday I returned to maths and spent some time refamiliarizing myself with Mathematica. I am going to stay with that for a few days as I want to get the feel of the software back.
12:30 PM I have just finished a two hour effort with Mathematica.
